Casting alloys in Visakhapatnam since 1982
Ni-Chrome Alloy Castings has supplied heat, corrosion and wear-resistant castings to process plants in India and abroad for four decades. The works sit in an industrial park on NH-16 in Visakhapatnam, about 20 km from the airport, and form part of the Lohman group of companies. Steel, alloy steel, super-alloy and non-ferrous parts are melted, cast, heat-treated, machined and inspected on one site.

Our history
Four decades, told in the milestones that matter to a buyer
The record a procurement team looks for: how long we have cast, when the quality system went in, and when the approvals that gate critical work were earned.
- 1982
Founded as an MSME unit
The foundry is established in an industrial park in Visakhapatnam, casting steel and alloy-steel components.
- 2007
Quality management system put in place
An ISO quality system formalises how every heat is specified, tested and recorded.
- 2010
Enlisted with Engineers India Limited
EIL approval clears the foundry for critical petrochemical-grade alloys, a status held by only a handful of Indian foundries.
- 2011
Exporting overseas
Castings begin shipping to overseas projects, cast to international codes and released under third-party inspection; export work that continues today.
- 2020
Centrifugal casting added
Horizontal centrifugal capability brings tubes, liners and cylinders in-house.
- 2025
Vertical centrifugal added
Axis-symmetric parts such as valve bodies, rings and wheels, cast to near-net shape.
- 2026
Shell moulding added
Fine-finish, tight-tolerance moulding for castings closer to final shape.
- Today
EIL-approved and ISO 9001:2015
Casting from carbon and alloy steels to critical super-alloys, to ASTM, ASME, BS and IS, with the lab, heat treatment and machining in-house.
What we work to
Mission & vision
Cast every order to the grade and standard it was specified to, and prove it in the report before it ships.
To be the foundry that process plants turn to first when ordinary steel won't survive the job.
The proof sits in the lab and the inspection report. See how we test →

Send the spec and we'll come back with what it takes to cast it.
